For Wiradjuri woman Kirsten Banks, perhaps better known by her social media handle AstroKirsten, her passion for astrophysics began at a young age, exploring bushland and travelling the country with her parents. Now, while completing her PhD at UNSW and having amassed over a quarter of a million followers across social media, Kirsten wants to share her passion for science with the next generation.
