Ngurra 2024

Orientation Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at UNSW

Nura Gili Centre for Indigenous Education will be holding Ngurra Orientation Program on 31st Jan, 1st and 2nd February at Nura Gili at UNSW for all commencing undergraduate Indigenous students at UNSW. If you are starting your studies at UNSW in 2024, please keep those dates free.

This program is designed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are commencing their undergraduate studies at UNSW. The program will provide you with an opportunity to meet other commencing students, senior students, and staff from Nura Gili and other key services on campus. You will also receive lots of advice and information on how to get started at university and what to expect as a first-year student.

If you prefer, you can attend as a day student or stay in accommodation provided on campus at no cost. We highly recommend you attend Ngurra as it will be a great opportunity to get to know the university and its services better. You will also have the chance to participate in academic skills sessions, a campus tour, and some cultural activities.

Please contact us at nuragili@unsw.edu.au for further details and to let us know you are interested in attending.
